Relationship Rhythms

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me – watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace.” – Matthew 11:28-29

Just as rhythm is the underlying foundation that drives the music and keeps musicians working well together, there are also “rhythms” that are foundational for growth in the relationships in our lives. For any relationship to thrive and grow, we must give these rhythms intentional nurture and attention.

Following Jesus primarily happens in three relationships: with God, with the Church (other believers) and with the World (our spheres of influence). Deepening and strengthening these three relationships helps fuel our mission as Grace Church:

Together, taking one step closer to loving Jesus and loving people.

GOD

Rhythms In My Relationship With God

I approach God with a posture of humility.

As we practice these rhythms, we grow in our love relationship with our Creator.

CHURCH

Rhythms In My Relationship With The Church

I approach others in the Church with a posture of love.
