Care and Support

We’re not meant to do life alone.

We know life can be times of great joy, as well as difficult and messy. We want to come alongside you to pray for you, celebrate the joys in your life, and provide Bible based support and encouragement when things are difficult.

Pastoral Counseling

Our Care Pastor is available for appointments to pray for you and to help you find support and resources during times of difficulty. He is also available for pre-marital counseling and weddings.

If you’ve experienced the death of a loved one, we want to help support you. Grief is hard—and it can feel really lonely.

We partner with the national program called GriefShare to facilitate a 13 session-class of teaching, sharing and reflecting (in a small group of people also experiencing loss) to help aid in healing. GriefShare at Grace is offered Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm; we begin new classes roughly 2 times a year in the fall and winter.

Pre-marital Counseling

Our premarital program is designed to prepare couples spritually and emotionally for the commitment of marriage. We’ll help you explore family backgrounds/histories, identify expectations, and walk through goal-setting, budgeting, conflict resolution and communication. The typical timeframe for premarital counseling is roughly 6-8 sessions over a period of 3-4 months.

You don’t have to go through divorce alone. We partner with the national program—DivorceCare—to host a 13-session class facilitated by people who have had personal experience with Divorce recovery. You’ll join a small group who is facing the same issues and can offer encouragement as you take steps toward healing. You can start at any time; each lesson stands on its own. DivorceCare at Grace is offered Sunday mornings from 10:30-noon ; we begin new classes roughly 3 times a year (fall, winter, & spring.)
